Design The design of the MM1000 has a smooth, black casing.It is just under 5 inches wide, 3.1 inches long, and 1.1 inches tall, so it should be pretty easy to conceal if you don’t want to … But, hey, I could be wrong about my opinion. Thrilled!Moved out and gave the old roommate the modem.
Would have liked to have a black case to match router and network drive. I just purchased one a month ago along with the orbi ac3000 system. Other than that it simply works with my 100Mb service.This modem is great! Pinterest. Pulls 177 down and my standard 26 up. Yes, they are expensive.
I am so happy I no longer have to constantly get stressed about my wifi signal like before ^_^The only challenge I had was with initial setup with Cox. This modem is based off the Intel Puma 6 chipset which suffers tremendously from latency. It works better than any broadband WiFi system I’ve ever had; fast speeds and great throughput, never any lag even on video streaming.

I found that it cost much less than a year's rental for the cable company's modem, and it was substantially faster than it as well, which I hoped would help with all the streaming we seem to do these days. I pay for 100megs of speed from my cable company and I regularly get 115. This review is for the Arris TM822G, purchased through Amazon (sold as "new" by Miakota via Amazon Prime), February 2015. So I asked my BB associate, which was the fastest he had in stock, and on that particular day, it was the ARRIS - SURFboard DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem. With 5 devices all connected to the setup, I was running over 200 mbps download, which is/was just numbers to me, but I know that when I was running the Spectrum setup, I wasn't getting above 50 mbps. I used to have cable company modem and could not have more than 3 devices connected at once without the frustration of lagging.
