We wanted to experience the lazy river but were told you had to buy an inner tube by 6:00 PM.

Due to the hotel not having the express pass i would likely stay at one of the other universal hotels but we still enjoyed our stay.This hotel is one of our favorite places!
The walls are paper thin, as we got to hear others in adjoining rooms - not pleasant.
We also enjoyed Bayliner Diner food court especially when they had a passholder deal with a free kids meal with purchase of an adult meal. Early Park Admission begins one (1) hour prior to regularly scheduled park opening to either Universal Studios Florida or Universal’s Islands of Adventure as determined by Universal Orlando, and Universal’s Volcano Bay.
I never saw anyone cleaning and wiping down surfaces, the room didn't seem as clean (no plastic on the remote) Thankfully I brought lysol and cleaned the room. Enjoy vibrant, retro-style with rooms and suites brilliantly designed for fun and affordability.
The theme of the hotel is very cute and the staff were nice. This trip was a girls weekend. The hotel was more crowded than I expected during covid. We grabbed a bite to eat at closing and headed back to the room. We had the 2 bedroom suite overlooking Volcano Bay . Smh. It was a 50’s/60’s beach theme. We wish we could've provided a more positive and memorable experience for you. This hotel is part of the universal empire,very good for the valve for family's and couple looking for a place to relax and and enjoy the parks in the area.If your looking for quality and not so muck high end and name this is itThank you for your recent review. The kitchen only includes 2 small fridges and a small microwave .
The only thing I would say is that the parking attendant at the front wasn’t the friendliest and it is dark at the parking gate so it is difficult to see where you swipe your room key for entry.
