Mike Delfino - Susan's second (third and forth, more so) husband, a plumber with a shady past who moved to the lane to search for his missing girlfriend. She was a beloved Mother, grandmother, sister, wife and teacher.She taught school for 43 and a half years and loved it and considered it one of her greatest accomplishments. Eventually, Susan began writing and illustrating children's books, the first of which was Ants in My Picnic Basket. After a few moments, Susan has enough of Katherine's antics and demands that she take off the dress at once. Susan tells Mike that she is sorry that the morning after their wedding, Mike woke up beside a crazy woman and she hasn't paid any attention to him since Julie's attack. Susan wonders what she's supposed to do, Bree says tell Mike how she feels or move on. She says she knows that he attacked Julie. Mike sends MJ to Katherine's house and the have binini's for dinner. Susan feels sad staying in the house full of memories of her dead husband's life, so she decides to move with MJ somewhere else so Julie can finish her studies. This leads to Susan eventually finding Julie's car, without her knowledge of the vehicle exchange between her ex-husband and her daughter, at a local motel. Susan and Jackson are on their way to get married, but before they can drive to City Hall, a car pulls up with two immigration officials who arrest Jackson. Katherine walks out and runs into Susan, who says Jackson is just getting a few stitches and wonders who Katherine is visiting. A protest against his plan escalates into a violent riot and Susan is trampled by the unruly crowd.Susan begins to withdraw from her friends and family out of guilt for having helped cover up Alejandro's death.By season four, critics thought that Susan's storylines were the least interesting and that she had not "operated at full potential since [her] pivotal role in the debut season". Dave tells her he is selling the house and putting the money in a trust for Travers. Susan drags Jackson aside to tell him how much she needs Mike's money, saying, "I'm sorry, but I can't marry you." Susan then adopts the persona of a Fairview Memorial doctor, complete with a British accent, and informs Dylan that she is concerned about Katherine's well-being and recommends for her to visit her mother immediately.
