Decks are Not Private at all- no fences at all in between so if you come in the summer, you better want to see your neighbor as they are a mere four feet from you. Additional windows and roofs are scheduled for replacement in the spring of 2015, along with the final section of original sidewalk. For all around service, rooms, location and food Bluefin is at the top. Spent a couple of delightful days drinking coffee (in the mornings) and sipping wine (in the evenings) taking in the spectacular views. Taxes and fees that are shown are estimates only. The North Shore of Lake Superior is a unique and isolated place and with some very unique accommodations. The outdoor pool is nice and the rooms are magnificent!This topic has been closed to new posts due to inactivity. Our sliding door opened directly onto Lake Superior. And without the hassle of maintaining a second vacation home.
Wish we had more in our budget to spend on a lake view room/kitchen/patio, but we chose the "Hillside Guestroom." Our unit was somewhat updated, but many of the areas are dated. The Bluefin Bay Family Of Resorts: Surfside at Bluefin Bay - See 666 traveler reviews, 503 candid photos, and great deals for The Bluefin Bay Family Of Resorts at Tripadvisor. We could sit on our deck in total privacy. The decking on the entry side of our units is now close to the top of the priority list, and will begin getting attention soon as well. We love that the property is lakeside and continue to ask for the Bluefin property vs. Surfside because we typically don't need the space that Surfside units have. As you probably know, all Bluefin units are individually owned.
